Prime minister meets media representatives to discuss gov't priorities, reform plans

AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Thursday met with a number of editors-in-chief, media directors, journalists, and talk show hosts at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting is part of a series of communication sessions with representatives of newspapers, TV and radio stations, and digital platforms aimed at enhancing dialogue between the government and the media, according to a Prime Ministry statement.
Hassan outlined the government’s key plans, programmes, and projects, particularly those related to the Economic Modernisation Vision, as well as ongoing efforts in administrative and political reform linked to amendments to the Local Administration Law. He also reviewed the government’s priorities for the coming stage.
The meeting featured an open dialogue on various national issues and files, attended by Minister of Local Administration Walid Masri, Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani, Minister of State for Economic Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh, and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdul Latif Najdawi.
