Senior Lebanon-based Hamas official Osama Hamdan stated that there has been no progress in the Gaza ceasefire talks, and called to further escalate all “resistance” activity against the Israeli Occupation and its settlers.

 

In a press conference in Beirut today, Thursday, Hamdan held the United States and President Joe Biden accountable for the crimes against humanity being committed against Palestinians committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF)

 

He further added that the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is hindering both parties from reaching an agreement, saying that Netanyahu is “not interested” in securing the release of the captives held by Hamas in the Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.

 

Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas Politburo Chief, reiterated earlier that Hamas will not back down from its demands for a permanent ceasefire and the full withdrawal of the IOF from the Gaza Strip.
