Key figures from the Washington and Tel Aviv engaged in remote talks to explore alternative strategies concerning Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, opposed by Washington.

 

They shared the objective of defeating Hamas in Rafah, although the US side expressed concerns about different courses of action.
